If you need a faster or slower pace, or want to learn skills that aren't covered in our classes, you can schedule private lessons with a Compy School instructor. You can have as few or as many lessons as you need, and you can schedule them for daytime, evenings or weekends.

Private lessons can help with specific tasks, like…

• Buying a computer
• Backing up your data
• Using a camera, smartphone or other gadget
• Setting up a resume or other document
• Organizing your files
• Organizing your email

For more general goals, we can create a personal learning plan. One of our instructors will discuss your goals with you and recommend a series of lessons designed to cover the necessary skills.

A learning plan can help with goals like…

• Becoming comfortable with your computer
• Taking advantage of the Internet
• Learning new job skills

Private lesson rates are $50/hour for consumer topics and $100/hour for professional topics, with a 10% discount for lessons that are a part of a learning plan. Please note: If you need to cancel a private lesson, we require 24 hours notice. If you cancel a lesson with less than 24 hours notice, we will ask you to pre-pay any future lessons.
